Meet the therapist

I’m Becky, owner of Throughline Therapy. A little about myself:

I grew up in a small town in Alaska with three siblings. I’m an intensely curious person with a love of poetry and culinary experimentation. I was raised Mormon, giving me a specific cultural understanding that many of my clients find helpful in therapy. I retain a deep interest in a variety of faith traditions, which I am always excited to learn more about. I also enjoy hiking, yoga, boxing, reading, and learning about a variety of topics, particularly about what it means to be a human being in this vast universe. I am also a part of the LGBTQ+ community with a streak of queer rebellion running deep in my bones.

I would be delighted to get to know you!

My Therapeutic Philosophy

I believe that therapy should be interesting. It should capture your interest and imagination as you look deeply into your life. I seek to give my clients space assert their own needs and take personal authority for their lives. My approach will at times be validating, at other times challenging, and always coming from a place of deep respect for you as an individual.

I integrate several therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, attachment theory, Jungian psychology, and mindfulness. I view symptoms as an invitation into a deeper relationship with yourself and the world around, to become more deeply who you genuinely are. I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and supportive space for this exploration.

I graduated from Kansas State University in 2018 with a Masters of Science in Couples and Family Therapy.
